The founder, Tomos Huws, was given a donkey by a local farmer when bad health compelled him to give up his low-paid farm job. The object of the donkey was to set him up in business as a carrier and carriers were very much in demand in that era. The trouble was that Tomos could not afford a cart. However, a kindly farmer gave him two wheels, and Tomos completed the project by nailing a few planks of wood and fixing a pair of shafts. The business was eventually taken over by Mr Huws daughter and her husband Thomas Jones. It was their son Thomas, better known to the people of Lleyn as Tomi Caelloi, who persuaded his parents to invest in a motor lorry, which was converted into a bus by means of a tarpaulin over the top, and the run from the home base in Dinas to Pwllheli became motorised. The West End Garage had a connection with transport dating back to the s when it was built by Solomon Andrews as a depot for the horse drawn trams that operated along the seafront to Llanbedrog.

There are plenty of guys I know which still travel for ages just to find a hookup, and I used to do the same, until I discovered ShagDates. Everyone loves a girl next door, and this is where this site comes in, I cannot begin to describe how many people I see on here.
I actually saw one of the girls who is at the same bus stop every morning going to work. I was a little skeptical at the beginning, but meeting singles in my area for some fun, helps let off the steam after a long week! Our community has given us much positive feedback. The real reason why shag dating has exploded is because of technology, we have reached a point where singles are more likely to meet with people of their locality. Traditionally, peopl would sign up to a dating site, but the members could be from all over, which then makes it difficult to actually meet up, you could spend hours travelling and have no result.

Llangollen 16 miles – Wrexham 18 miles – Denbigh 8 miles The historical town of Ruthin is situated in North Wales with its origins in the 13th century. This parish and that of Llanrhud, which were originally one, are bounded on the south by the parish of Llanfair, east by the same and that of Llanarmon yn Ial, west by Llanfwrog, and north by Llanbedr. The surface is beautifully diversified, the eastern part of Llanrhud embracing a portion of the Clwydian hills, and the western part of Ruthin the meanderings of the river Clwyd, with the fertile and luxuriant meadows on its banks.
The agricultural produce is equally rich and abundant, yielding fine crops of wheat, barley, oats, potatoes, and turnips, together with grass and hay. It consisted of two wards and five round towers originally guarding the inner ward. All that remains are three towers and the ruined double-towered gatehouse. According to local history, the lordship of Dyffryn Clwyd was given to the Grey family in after the defeat of Llywelyn effectively ending the principality of North Wales. Up to the history of the castle had little to note.
In the early 15th century the castle was held by Lord Grey, a gentleman who had made an enemy of one Owain Glyndwr by trying to acquire the Dee estates of the Welshman. When Glyndwr was ready to launch his bid for an independent Wales, Ruthin and Lord Grey became the first target. The attack surprised all and Ruthin was ravaged and burnt.

Black Hat is more of a yurt, and probably the most spacious, but sadly was closed owing to a leaking pipe when we visited.
